After selling my Aerodyne turbo Miata I decided to take on a bigger project.My goal was to find the least expensive Miata (not a wreck) and restore it to better than new condition. I found a 1990 model with 162,000 miles and in need of my love. PROJECT BEGINS MAY 1999 |

The car was a white 1990 A package with a weak engine and a lousy paint job. The rear window was replaced with
a stiff lexan type material that would not bend easily. The top could only drop about 3/4 of the way down because of
this window. The front left brake was seriously deteriorated and pulsed violently when the brakes were applied.
The care drove pretty well considering its obvious neglect. It had superfical rust and the interior was damp and smelly.
This was the perfect car!!
